Refund Policy - Authors

Last updated 04 Aug 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for authors using Article Management System, operated by Technology Fist.

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are refundable in full if you withdraw your paper before its DOI is registered, since the permanent record has not yet been created. Once the DOI is registered the APC is non-refundable, because the editorial and production work has been carried out and the record is permanent. If you withdraw before a final decision, contact the venue directly.

  • Every confirmed payment is acknowledged by email with a printable receipt - keep it as your record for any refund request.
  • Refund requests, where applicable, should be raised with the relevant conference/journal in the first instance, and with Technology Fist for platform-level (hosting/renewal/publication) fees.
  • Approved refunds are returned using the same payment method used for the original payment, where technically possible.
  • Where institutions share a venue's financial liability under an approved MOU, refunds of venue-level fees are handled with the liable institutions in their recorded shares.
  • This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the law that applies to you.
