Delivery Policy - Authors

This Delivery Policy explains what "delivery" means for authors using Article Management System, a digital service with no physical goods shipped.

For authors, "delivery" means: submission confirmation is immediate; review decisions are delivered by email and shown on your dashboard, on the venue's own timeline; payment confirmations (paid, waived, or not received) are emailed to you the moment the team records them, with a printable receipt once paid; upon acceptance, published-paper access is delivered once the venue completes its publication step, and - if the venue uses the separate Publishing platform - you first receive a proof of the final version to approve by email, your DOI is assigned once your paper's checklist (metadata, copyright, payment where applicable) is complete, and your article page (with its license, article history, citation exports, and metrics) goes live at publication; any purchased add-ons (e.g. an expedited review, if offered) are delivered as described at the time of purchase.

  • All services are delivered electronically; there is no shipping and no physical delivery address is collected for that purpose.
  • If a delivery (e.g. a decision notification or account provisioning) is delayed beyond what's reasonably expected, please contact the relevant conference/journal, or Technology Fist for platform-level issues.

What an author charge covers: where a Technology Fist venue charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) or a Pre-Publication Processing Charge (PPC), the fee is charged only once processing is complete - after editorial acceptance, when your paper has been taken through AMS to a publication-ready state (submission processing, software-based reviewer assignment, the automated similarity check and format check with their results on your dashboard, camera-ready collection with its automated format check and, for IEEE venues, redirection to the IEEE electronic Copyright Transfer through AMS). You can follow every step on your paper page before any payment is due. When you pay, the payment is confirmed automatically and your printable receipt is issued at once; the finished paper is then forwarded to the external publisher's proceedings in the required form or, where the venue publishes with Technology Fist, published through Technology Fist Publishing - automated DOI registration and permanent linking, digital-library hosting, and citation and metadata services (BibTeX/RIS, OAI-PMH) - after your approval of the proof and the venue's publication step. The charge never buys an editorial decision, and final inclusion in an external publisher's proceedings is subject to that publisher's own acceptance and presentation requirements. Payments made by bank transfer are confirmed by a person on our team, so the paper goes forward once we have confirmed the transfer.
