Author Agreement
Last updated 02 Oct 2026
This Author Agreement applies to anyone submitting a paper through Article Management System.
- You confirm the submitted work is your own original work (or that of your co-authors), has not been published elsewhere in substantially the same form, and is not simultaneously under review elsewhere unless disclosed and approved.
- You confirm all co-authors have consented to this submission and to the venue's review process.
- You grant the hosting conference/journal a non-exclusive license to review, and - if accepted and published - to publish, distribute, and index your work, as described in the venue's own publication terms.
- If the venue registers your accepted paper with a permanent DOI (via the separate Publishing platform), you additionally consent to your name, affiliation, title, and abstract being deposited with Crossref as permanent, publicly visible scholarly metadata - this cannot be withdrawn once deposited, consistent with how DOI registration works industry-wide.
- You understand your submission is subject to peer review, and that acceptance is not guaranteed.
- Where an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies, you confirm you understand the fee before submitting for payment, and that fees are handled under the Refund Policy. An APC payable to Technology Fist applies only where Technology Fist is the publishing service provider (its own and umbrella venues); authors of independent venues pay those venues directly under the venue's own policies.
- Files you upload in Microsoft Word format (DOC/DOCX) may be converted by the platform to a PDF rendering for review and reading; both your original file and the PDF are retained against your paper and remain available to you.
- If your paper is published, the platform also generates a full-text HTML version and a JATS 1.3 XML version of it from your camera-ready file, and may publish any supplementary files you provide. These are formats of the same accepted work, produced so it can be read on any device and harvested by indexing services; the PDF remains the version of record, and the licence shown on your article page applies to all of them equally. You remain responsible for the final camera-ready appearance, which you confirm at proof stage.
- You agree to respond to reviewer and editorial requests (revisions, camera-ready files, copyright forms) within the timelines the venue communicates to you.
- If your paper is published through the Publishing platform, it carries the license shown on its article page (typically a Creative Commons license such as CC BY 4.0, or the venue's stated alternative) - under Creative Commons licenses you retain copyright while granting readers the stated reuse rights.
- Before publication you may receive a proof of the final version by email; you agree to review it and either approve it or request corrections promptly. Approving the proof confirms the record (title, authors, affiliations, content) is correct as shown.
- Payments you make are confirmed to you by email at every status change, with a printable receipt once confirmed; while a payment of yours is pending, a duplicate payment for the same paper cannot be started. Where the platform sets a pending-payment window (the number of days is shown on your payment page), a card payment you started but did not complete is closed automatically once that window has passed; bank transfers and Bank Alfalah payments are never closed automatically. Closing an unpaid payment never charges you, you are emailed when it happens, and you can start a new payment for the same paper at any time.
- Corrections and retractions after publication are handled through formal, dated notices on the article page - published records are never silently edited or deleted.
By checking the box when submitting your paper, and again when making any related payment, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this Author Agreement.
Where an author charge applies, the fee covers your paper's processing on the platform - submission processing, software-based reviewer assignment, the automated similarity and format checks, camera-ready collection with its automated format check and, for IEEE venues, the electronic Copyright Transfer step - and, where the venue publishes with Technology Fist, DOI registration, permanent digital-library hosting and citation and metadata services; the fee is charged only once processing is complete, and it never buys the editorial decision.
Publication agreement - who signs. If your paper is accepted, one author - normally the corresponding author - will be asked to sign this venue's publication agreement on behalf of all the authors, and it is the corresponding author's responsibility to complete it. Their signature binds every listed author. A copy of the signed agreement is emailed to each author at the address given at submission.
