Accessibility statement

Technology Fist wants Article Management System to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our target is WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What the platform does

Pages use semantic HTML with a skip-to-content link and a main content landmark; forms carry visible labels; keyboard focus is visible throughout (a consistent outline follows the keyboard); color is never the only carrier of meaning (status badges pair color with text); the interface is responsive and usable at 200% zoom; and PDFs uploaded by authors are delivered unmodified, as their authors produced them.

Known limitations

Some data-dense administrative tables are hard to linearise for screen readers and are being improved gradually; charts on the analytics pages present their data visually, with the underlying numbers available in the adjacent tables; and the accessibility of author-uploaded documents (manuscripts, camera-ready files) depends on their authors - the platform cannot retrofit tagging into an uploaded PDF.

If any part of this platform is difficult or impossible for you to use with assistive technology, please tell us at info@techfist.org — include the page address and what went wrong. We aim to respond within five business days, and accessibility reports are treated as defects, not feature requests.

This statement was last reviewed in August 2026 and is revisited with each substantial release.
